I thought an anticommunist was more like McCarthy: less of an inthelectual, more the rope and torch kind of thinker. Can one understand Marx and Lenin when one spells like George W Bush?
Wouldn’t one need to read us first understand us? If so, according to the definition they also are communists. This sounds like an internal contradiction to your reasoning

In response to PI, I always find it ironic, considering the enourmous death count directly attributable to Marxism, that people would accuse a moron like McCarthy of being the real lyncher.
And to Mr. Marx himself: The implication of the quote was that many people read Marx and Lenin, but few understand them. Not that you can understand without reading. In that context, I think it is overwhelmingly true.
