OK, it is admittedly a bit of a desperation shot but thankfully the time between my desperation shots is getting father apart instead of closer. In any case, these two always make me smile when I open the refrigerator.
Project 365 - Day 123: Packing Peanuts
I had several framed photos to ship out today so I made stop at the local UPS store. They had this huge back of packing peanuts sitting in the corner. I had to resist the temptation to buy the whole bag, take them home, fill the bathtub with them and leap in. Or maybe see if I could fill a Mini Cooper with them.
Project 365 - Day 124: Blessed Rest
It was just a non-stop frantic day of meetings, errands, tasks and toils. When I finally got a glimpse of my pillow, I was so excited. It may sound like I’m complaining, but really, it was a good day. A day of frantic effort when combined with measurable accomplishments is always a thing to be desired. Plus you can always count on a good night’s sleep on a day like this.

I caught this picture at a local diner called Beverly’s. Waitstaff have a particularly clear way of expressing exhaustion through their body language which I think is captured in this picture.
My day was also a bit physically taxing but really good. We spent the morning getting a bunch of furniture moved into our house including Alex’s bed. Thankfully I was able to do basically nothing for the rest of the afternoon.
