MAPS 3 Timeline Approved including Bike Trail Schedule

14 Year Old Killed in Oklahoma City Crash

Another cycling fatality occurred yesterday near the corner of Northwest Expressway and MacArthur: Anthony Guzman, 14, was riding a 20-inch BMX bicycle in the 5700 block of Northwest Expressway when he tried to cross from south to north and was hit by an eastbound car. Cyclist Killed in Apparent Hit-and-Run Crash

So, following up on the request for information I posted earlier, it appears the cyclist in question was involved in an apparent hit and run crash. About 8:15 a.m., a passer-by reported a bicyclist in a ditch in the 12600 block of N Midwest Boulevard, just north of NE 122, Patty said. Edmond Cyclist Killed

Sad news as yet another cyclist is killed in the metro area: A bicyclist was hit and killed by a truck on Kelly Avenue near Main Street in Edmond on Thursday. The victim’s name was not immediately released. He appeared to be an adult male, Edmond police spokeswoman Glynda Chu said.
