After three days, I’m finally starting to recover. This is one old acquaintance I won’t be sad to see the last of. While out on my bike ride, I came across two of these spacey houses in between Yukon and El Reno. They were in good condition, but none were welcoming enough for me to get any closer.

My dear friend Iva is back in town for a short trip. I always look forward to catching up with this remarkable, adventuresome woman. We spent a wonderful lunch of Pho catching up on work adventures, relationships, hobbies and Soviet product design.

So I skipped the worst of a cold last week only to come down with a bad case of the flu this week. The worst of it is that this is the first year in many that I didn’t get a flu shot. I guess I tempted fate once too often.

So for now, I am spending my time sleeping between doses of medicine.
